In the video below (English with Japanese subs) the Discovery Channel shows how Dr. Tomobechi managed to enlarge a woman’s bust size by 3 centimeters just by getting her to listen to particular ring tone. The ring tone is called RockMelon. Dr. Tomobechi claims that results can be seen if women listen to it 20 times a day for 10 days. The ringtone is a screeching electric guitar jam with sounds of a crying baby layered within.
The basic premise behind Dr. Tomabechi’s ringtone is that a woman’s breasts will enlarge if she is exposed to the sound of a crying baby repeatedly over a long period of time. The brain picks up the subdued sounds of the crying baby and a physical maternal response is created that swells the listeners breasts as if she is readying for childbirth. Some listeners of the ringtone have even reported a darkening of the nipples similar to that of a woman who is pregnant.
Hideto Tomabechi is not a crackpot claim the ringtone supporters. He once helped deprogram members of the notorious Aum Shinrikyo cult, implicated in the Tokyo subway nerve gas attacks of 1995. read more…

One of the most controversial dolls in 1975, just about every newspaper and radio program in the U.S.A. discussed a story about her. Some women’s groups & a few parents wrote to Mattel to complain.
Mattel expected sales to reach one and a half million units so the doll was produced and went to market.
Growing Up Skipper is nine inches tall with long reddish blonde hair. She was marketed as being Two dolls in One. Turn the left arm she grows a bigger bust line and becomes slightly taller. Turning the arm back again reverts Skipper to her previous doll.
Included with Skipper are a red headband, red body suit, blue collar, blue scarf, red socks, red flats, white platform shoes, two red, white plaid skirts, one short, one long.

Politically Correct Version: Homely Doll To Improve Self-Image of Young Girls

Mattel also released a slightly older brown haired version known as Growing Up Ginger. Ginger would become a Tall Curvy Teenager with the twist of her arm. Also sold separately were coloring books for these dolls.
We have seen these dolls sell for over $100 each on ebay. Not a bad return on your investment considering the original price was under $5. Do any Hiddenfeet readers remember this doll? Anyone still have one?
If these dolls were released today, would public reaction be any different? Are dolls that demonstrate breast development harmful to the boys and girls who play with them? Would it matter if the doll grew breasts hiddenfeet sized? read more…

Plenty of great clothing tips from Lifescript.com
“It’s true that dressing sexy can be fun on the weekends when you’re out on the town with friends, but how about the week days when you report to the office or workout at the gym? You may still want to feel stylish, but not necessarily top-heavy.”
“Bras for Large Breasts: Oprah has helped bring this bitter truth to our attention: Many women are wearing the wrong bra style and size. Is it possible that over 60% of women are wearing the wrong bra size? Yes, and it’s a shame; the right bra can make you look longer, leaner and in some cases, younger.”
“Bikinis for Large Breasts: A bikini particularly suited to large breasts is the halter style. It provides ample coverage and more support than a string-bikini top. Bikini alternatives for women with large breasts include swimsuits that have ruching, a French term meaning “ruffling or pleating,” at the bust. It is believed the ruching at the bust will minimize the appearance of breasts. The website FigLeaves.com stocks a wide range of swimsuits and bikinis for women with large breasts. read more…

Like an artful comedienne, journalist Seligson (Going with the Grain), a self-avowedly well-endowed woman, wittily recounts her experiences as she anecdotally examines “what breasts mean to their bearers as well as their beholders.”
Assessing an abundant lexicon of breast slang, Seligson ponders the role of breasts as the marker of femininity, conversing with women of all ages about how their breast size affects their daily life and self-image. Quizzing experts on the evolutionary role of breasts for human sexual attraction, she surveys the history of the brassiere before purchasing “the perfect bra” at a renowned Manhattan retailer.
Seligson’s candid observations are hilarious as she visits a workaholic editor for Busty Beauties magazine and searches for the Guinness-record-holder for breast size, one Maxi Mounds, at an exotic dancing event. Questioning the global phenomenon of breast augmentation, Seligson reveals industry scams and discusses the psychology, ethics and cultural implications of implant consumerism with leading plastic surgeons and media scholars.
Concluding with cross-dressers and their removable breasts, the author proclaims herself at peace with herself as “a person who happens to be stacked.” Seligson’s earthy merriment and compassionate humor triumph as she surefootedly tours a subject bound to elicit strong feelings ranging from adulation to derision. Yes you read the title right. Why do women obsess over large breasts? This article provides some interesting insights.
“Why do women gladly pay $100 for shoes to be worn sporadically, yet balk at spending $65 on a well-made, properly sized and comfortable bra to be used daily, one that fits and is the foundation, literally, of looking and feeling good.”

In this story Samara Ginsberg writes about her life with big breasts. She liked her breasts when they first appeared at age 12 and remembers being a size 28A for a long time. Her breasts were small and perky, in proportion with the rest of her figure. When Samara Ginsberg turned 14, she quickly developed large breasts. In the space of three months, she went from an A to an E cup.
The way she was treated by people completely changed. The author says she needs a t-shirt that reads, “These came with my body”. read more…

Elle Halliwell of The Sunday Telegraph talks about the expanding bra market. She compares current sizes to the 1950s where the most common bra-cup size was a B - three sizes less than a DD. As we have blogged about recently, many lingerie labels are producing select styles up to a size J.
Experts blame the cleavage boost on obesity, contraceptive pills and artificial hormones. read more…
