A Club I am Not a Member of

Dear Hiddenfeet,
My breasts are large, well not the largest on earth but of a substantial size as you can see in my picture. I was last measured as having a 34DD chest. I weigh 108lbs and can confidently say that I have hiddenfeet. A couple of girls I go to college with have had reductions. They constantly tell me how grateful they are to have had it done and they urge me to do the same.“It’s like a club for them. A club I am not a member of. I hear about it almost every day.”
What they unfortunately don’t realize is that I hate doing things to my body like that. I despise tattoos, hate piercings, except for the one in each ear that I got done for my 13th birthday. I don’t condone people for doing these things to their bodies, it’s just something I choose to avoid. I can usually draw attention to myself with my voice. I have been singing professionally since I was a child.
I am pleased you have started a website that encourages large chested girls to accept how they developed. You have my permission to publish this email and picture of myself in the hopes that other young girls will see that there are girls shaped the same way they are.
I have also observed, and hate to say -but feel it needs to be said- that many of my friends that get reductions just need to loose some weight. They need to do some cardio and eat higher quality foods. I like your “what to eat if you have hiddenfeet” article. Something as simple as walking every day, can make a huge difference. I’m curious to see, if reductions have increased right along with the plumping up of Americans. Perhaps it is because insurance is so ready to cover it, that these girls see it as a quick fix.
I’m not saying that all girls that get reductions are fat, just observing what my friends are like. Overweight people seem to always suffer from back problems, foot pain and many other weight related issues. Imo its not always the breasts that are to blame.
Just a fan email and again, thanks for starting a site like this!

Wendy is right about fitness and how it relates to bust size. There is a show called My Big Breasts and Me that shows how a woman was able to reduce her bust size through exercise.
We will be doing an article on that british production soon. Thanks for the tip.
People are always telling my daughter to get a breast reduction. It makes me so angry. She is my daughter and its her body, not theirs. Our doctor says that reductions are best when the breasts have stopped growing. Casey is only 14 years old. I just do not think it is the right time for her.
To the mother of Casey - Your worries are an almost weekly occurrence in my neck of the woods. I know what you go through!
People see big boobs and think OH NO that is not normal! Then out of a mix of fear, stupidity, jealousy, and perhaps a little bit of the desire to help - they offer their so called expert opinion about how to FIX your daughters chest. My daughter never wears revealing clothing and does nothing to provoke interest in her appearance but I clench my fists every time she comes home and tells me that another parent wants to talk to me about her breasts. Acting like a hoochie mama is ok for their daughter’s but God help everyone if my daughter has big boobs!

Brianna thanks for the comment - I understand your frustration, I really do - just try to type with a little less swearing next time. LOL!
I like your honesty and forthrightness on your experience - nobody needs to take the abuse of jokes and stereotypes.

Good for you Wendy! Diet, exercise and attitude are the name of the game. My daughters understand all three and we are all happy with who we are. Boob or no boobs women should accept themselves from head to toe!
