A Through F Cup Exactly the Same Price
May 24th, 2008
Reuters.com is reporting that Asda, Britain’s second-biggest food retailer and owned by U.S. giant Wal-Mart, says it will no longer charge women more for bigger bras in its George fashion range.
“We’re putting an end once and for all to one of the last prejudices — that of the bigger-busted woman,” said brand director Fiona Lambert in a statement. “From now on, all bras at George will be exactly the same price from A cup through to F cup.”
A publicity stunt, but a welcome one. The cost of extra bra material for a larger cup size is quite insignificant. Asda is basically admitting that they were price gouging their busty shoppers for years. Will other manufactures follow this price equality guideline? What do you notice when you shop?
