This documentary follows the lives of three women who feel uncomfortably defined by their naturally large bust size.
One is terrified of having breast reduction surgery but with her breasts causing her chronic back pain she knows it may be her only option. Another hopes that alternative therapies and an exercise regime will downsize her chest; and the third, a 19 year old fashion student, struggles to be taken seriously in a world where she feels only women with ’small boobs’ can look attractive.

Mom Wants Daughter to Have Breast Reduction

We recently received an email about this disturbing story posted on the Family Education website. The mother of this teenage girl is obviously in need of psychological help. She is trying to convince her daughter to have a breast reduction. A reduction that the young girl does NOT want. They’re Friggin’ Huge!

Alicia Rebensdorf writes about her generously sized breasts in an article titled In defense of a double D. This cleverly worded story discusses the numerous pitfalls of how her “friends” perceive her. They all unanimously agree that her breasts are massive enough to warrant surgical removal. This prompts Alicia to question why a breast reduction is meet with social approval while liposuction and tummy tucks are still considered vain.

Mannequins Breasts Too Large?

Salon Magazine author Wendy Paris writes about Mannequins with giant bazooms in shop windows. In this article she believes that they are “…more than just garment racks, they are a mirror of current beauty and fashion. These mannequins with their massive chests crossed the line from a little harmless obsession with appearance to a society run amok.”
