Mark & Spencer Introduce J-Cup Bra
November 19th, 2007
M&S have launched their biggest bra ever, a J-cup! Many Hiddenfeet readers have sent in joyful emails about Mark and Spencer supporting bustier ladies. This follows in the footsteps of brands like Victorias Secret, La Senza, Playtex, Simply Yours, and Bravissimo that offer bigger bras in a wide variety of feminine styles.
For girls with Hiddenfeet living in the UK, M&S are offering free gift wrap and free delivery on many items throughout their online catalog. Use the checkout code “FREEDELV” and click here for more information about M&S promotional codes.
Hiddenfeet is still in the process of compiling a link list of online shops where our readers can leave comments and reviews about their shopping experience. Keep emailing us those links!
M&S is the first high-end street store to sell bras up to a J-cup. Its online internet store has been testing the J-Cup size for a while now. M&S were just deciding if they should go ahead and offer J-Cups in their shops.
Silken Luxury™ Underwire is really amazing. I know this is off-topic atm but Sara you need to give this bra a test run. Soft, supportive, flexible, and durable. It is my new favorite! The Silken Luxury bra only goes to DD right now - I am a D - but it has a great smooth look under clothing. None of my tops bunch up or pinch on the material.

Victorias Secret just isn’t having the sales they did last year. My wife’s list is long but the prices are poor this Christmas. Anyone have some decent online codes for their website?
Madalyn I tried that style and love it. The trick is getting it fitted properly so that I get all of the benefits of great support without it pinching my back. That is the only complaint my friend has who didn’t get the right size though I guess that goes for most bras. The material is lovely and washes well.
Thanks!
I will have to order from them. There is no variety at all in my underwear drawer and the bras I do own are quite ugly with huge straps. A little lace will put a smile on my face this holiday season. Happy holidays Sara!
My orders from M&S went flawlessly. I purchased a few sports bras and underwire bras similar to styles I have tried on in stores before. The quality is great and they seem like they will last a while. Thanks for the tip Sara!
“People are always noticing a definite trend among younger women needing a larger cup sizes” says Soozie Jenkins, head of M&S’s lingerie design. “But these sizes are more difficult to come by, and up until now women had to seek out specialist fitters to get their bras custom-made.” I can only applaud companies that understand this and help young women. I know that businesses need to make profit but if enough companies help younger women, prices will fall and all girls will benefit.
Now all stores need to do is produce clothes that fit these big ample breasts. Full figured busts are very seldom catered for when it comes to shirts and tops. So much of these clothes seem to reflect the shape of the women where the clothes are made…India, China, Japan, Turkey etc. And those women are not always the same shape as the rest of us!
I wear Aviana soft cup Bras - they are available in F-H sizes. What I want to know is what materials bras should be made from to help maintain healthy skin? Is one type of fabric or material better?
This softcup bra features all-over lace and I like the wider, padded straps. I feel that I can wear it for long periods of time. Here are the materials:
Cup: All lace cup with polyester lining. Lace: 47% Rayon, 27% Cotton, 26% Nylon. Band, Side Frame: 100% Polyester. Back: 80% Nylon, 20% Spandex. Cup Sling, Cushion Straps: Laminated Latex. Exclusive of Elastic and/or Decoration.
Is this ok for my skin?
I’ll be glad when we’re the norm. If I try on something that fits me in the bust and shoulders, the arm holes/sleeves are almost twice as big as my head! But I wouldn’t dream of getting a reduction; the risks are hardly worth it.
IMO nothing really beats cotton. Ive noticed a huge difference. Polly or rayon don’t let the skin breath very well…but depending on where your lace is you may be alright for ventilation. Skin needs to be kept dry otherwise bacterial and or fungal abnormalities can develop. You’ll be so much more comfortable throughout the day. I have friend who wears her new bras to bed the first night. If she can sleep in it, she’ll be able to wear it during the day.
It’s a bit frustrating for me here. Many of the websites I come across are in the UK. While many of them do ship overseas it makes me a bit depressed that there are no such companies here (especially in the USVI) considering the amount of large breasted women on this island! Anyone know of any companies that do sell bigger sizes in the US or Caribbean?
Seriously? I’m a 40 DDD and I’ve always been met with blank stares (or outright amazement) in Victoria’s Secret stores. I consider myself on the small end of the “large” spectrum, so not being able to find a bra there is confusing and frustrating to me. Do they sell bigger bras online?
Also, I’d just like to throw this out there: I wear Cacique (sp?) bras and they’re GREAT!
It’s pretty sad - even Lane Bryant, which is geared to larger women, doesn’t carry bigger than a DD (at least the one close to me didn’t.) I’m an F and get my bras online from Goddess.
The new series of Fantasie bras are the most amazing I have ever worn. They are pretty, super soft, and offer great support. I think my breasts look amazing. You can buy them from Figleaves and try them out for free - they have free return shipping if you live in the US or Britain.
