Media Pokes Fun at Prince Charles
October 5th, 2007
Prince Charles attended an awards ceremony honoring some of his troops in London only to have a lucky photographer snap this awkward picture.
Among the recipients in the 9th Regiment, Army Air Corps was one woman who appeared to have large breasts. The article is titled Prince Charles the Perv of Wales. Check out the reader comments below the picture. Some people laughed, others attacked the media.
The Prince was probably ready to shake her hand or give her an award. I still think it is funny. I laugh at my boobs all the time. If we can’t laugh at things like this then society will start to develop strange phobias over breasts. They really are just silly bouncy things and not something taboo.
seems like people were more interested in commenting on the fact that the woman looks like Madonna
There are pictures of me in my highschool yearbook with my right palm squeezing my breast. I was fixing my bra when some kid with a camera captured the whole embarrassing moment. Five hundred of my classmates now remember me as Heather - “the girl with double dee’s who gropes herself.” Anyone who attended Wilson High School and graduated in 2005 knows what I am talking about.
Oh well…better than being caught picking my nose!
at least she is smiling and nobody is getting slapped in the face - that would be a publicity nightmare for the royals!
Anyone think the picture could have been doctored in Photoshop? Wouldn’t be hard to tilt his head down and or enhance her chest.
I do not think the picture has been faked. There are other pictures of that event that show this woman from different angles. She is voluptuous in all those pictures with identical proportions. The picture in question is just a matter of lucky timing that hints at something sleazy. Some people might be upset, but I think it is funny.
The positioning of her uniforms belt enhances her bustline. That is the trouble with uniforms in all professions. They never flatter voluptuous women.
Flatter? Showing off a bustline is not unflattering.
You mean flatten!
Actually it seems that the Prince has just given her the award. Notice the medals hanging off of the left breast pockets of everyone in the line up to the woman but not the soldiers after her. Obviously, as a part of the awards ceremony the Prince has the duty of pinning the medals on the soldiers receiving them. Which has the potential to create an awkward moment when it comes to female soldiers.
To me it looks as if he is just admiring his handiwork, and they are both getting a chuckle out of the awkwardness of the situation. After all it’s not everyday you have a stranger put their hand in your shirt.
I think it’s a very cute picture. Well worth a chuckle over, but nothing else beyond that.
